The Hawaiian Historical Society prints a calender with daily factoids about Hawaii.  It can be purchased from the Mission House Museum Library.  I will mail one to all who would like to have a copy for themselves.  Here are some sample factoids from the past week:

June 16, 1900 The first wireless telegraph messages are sent in Hawaii.
June 19, 1970 The Lurline sails out of Honolulu for the last time.
June 21, 1803 The Lelia Byrd, commanded by Captain Williams Shaler, arrives with the first horses in Hawaii.
